I purchased the Ford Performance Coyote modular package and I have the Autometer standard gauges with my kit. I recently retired from 47 of the auto parts business and I am very dissappointed with the look and quality of these gauges. I wished the Factory Five website would have shown pictures of these before I ordered them. They won't be of much use as the tach only goes to 7,000 rpm and the speedometer to 120. I have not cut my Can Bus wires out of my harness yet. Has anyone use the dash such as the Racepak unit with the Can system? Thanks in advance for your input.

I bought a full Speedhut gauge package from Speedhut (8k tach & 160 speedo) and have the layout prototyped for my Challenge Car. I like it, but...

Given a chance to start over I'd go with one of the Autometer or other digital dash systems. For my application I'd need electronic sensors and analog converters as I'm running a carb.

A lot depends on the "look" you are after. I do like my modified S/C layout.

Perhaps opting out of the FFR provided gauges and ordering direct from Speedhut would meet your desires.

How about AiM digital dash? Anyone tried them, or any opinions on them? I wondered, as they have a location here in town, which might be convenient, maybe worth something, or not.

I saw this DD from Aim on their website, would make for an interesting look in a FF.

I've heard good things about the AIM products. Planning to use a Solo 2 but that's a track lap timer.

I'm using an AIM digital system in my track car. It is connected directly to the ECU via a CAN BUS. To my surprise, it worked perfectly the first time I turned it on. Still working perfectly today.
It will read, display, and record any data the ECU processes. For anything else - like oil temp - I added dedicated sensors.

Im using the AIM digital dash and power distribution module on my Gen3 coupe build. Took it wire-by-wire but was able to remove the fusebox from the engine ECU harness and now have the PDM running the car. The products seem reliable and the software is highly customizable.

Now starting to wire in the lights, switches, A/C etc
