I replaced the trunk lid on my build with the newer 25th anniversary-style trunk lid that fits the license place a bit better, so I'm giving away my original (pre-25th anniversary) trunk lid to a good home. It's rather heavy and bulky so local pickup is preferred but if you're interested in paying shipping I can get a quote for you.

If anyone is using the 427Hardtop (there should be 12 in the US now) they should be jumping all over this. The newer trunk lid does not work with the hardtop as it was designed for the older one.

Are you sure these work on a MK3? I thought the rear body was completely different between a 3/4.

We've done a number of Mk3 cars using the Mk4 trunk deck lids. They fit just fine. Hinges are the biggest issue since the Mk3 cars used external hinges.

I've been trying for a while now to find a box large enough to ship this thing and I've given up so the trunk lid is still available for local pickup only.
