View Full Version : Boig rad hoses or breeze?

Finally gonna spend the money and get rid of the corrugated pipes. What are the differences if any between the boig and breeze hoses? Any recommendations? Also I have a bp347 so I'd be ordering the 302 hoses.
And from what I saw breeze doesn't sell the upper hose with the fill cap? Then my best bet is probably to just go with the upper and lower boig hoses?

If you don't find what you need for the upper hose, you could look into making your own like I did. I purchased a number of hoses with angled and bent sections I determined would work and then purchased a section of straight SS tubing. You can get special crimpers (checkout https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGiunb8beDA) to make a lip on the ends of the tube. I didn't go this route, but there are now vendors selling SS tubing elbows in carious configurations and sizes (google "stainless tube elbow").

I went boig only because they sell the upper and lower together which made me hit the easy button. They are definitely well worth the money and look very nice in the engine compartment. I am sure the Breeze lower pipe is also good quality purchased many parts from Mark and everything was top notch.
