Just got my Mk 4 off the cat scales at the truck stop and weighs in at 2400 lbs . With all options and 3/4 tank of fuel.

I've always wanted to weigh mine. I always guessed it was around 2200. I wonder how much of a weight difference your TKX/IRS vs my T5/solid-axle is ?

As a reference mine is about 2450 with a Dart SHP block that's known to be heavier than the Ford 351W blocks.

Mine is an aluminum head EFI 5.0, T5, solid axle, PS, PB, fully insulated and carpeted—-2,180 full of gas on Wayne Presley’s 4 corner scales.

2650 with me in it and gas. That includes about 150lbs of extra roll cage, fuel cell with protection, 100 lbs of extra aero parts, using a T56, and IRS. Now its time to chase down some of the harder to cut weight.
