My Sumitomo's are 12 years old. No track use. Just driving around town. Maybe an autocross once in a while.

I am running the 555 G2's and for mild around town driving they are fine, however they are definitely not a soft compound. One nice thing about a harder compound tire is they do not pick up as much debris off the road which ends up on your paint. I also used them last year on a beginner track day and they did fine. If you are trying to get the best 0-60 time you might consider other options out there but the 555 G2's I would not hesitate to order again.

Those are a great street tire; better than the Sumitomos by an order of magnitude!

Are those the sizes you have currently? If so you're good to go. If not tell more about the car...Mk2,3 or 4? What rear end? What spindles?

Jeff, It is a Mk2 with 3 link and the 315 mod. These are the same size as the old Sumitomo's.
