I tried to mount the pedal box assembly to the underside of the stainless bracket. This made the plate that holds the master cylinder too low to be able to secure it to the frame. If I mounted the assembly on top of the bracket everything lined up. The only way to mount it per the instructions, I would have to bend the stainless bracket at an angle and this would make the brake master cylinder angle up toward the drivers seat. Is this correct ? Do I have to bend the mounting plate in order to mount the assembly under the mounting plate.
Anyone else had this problem?
Need you help

not really sure the issue you are having. Any pics? All that I have installed went in with no fuss.

Yes, I had the exact same problem. It looked like the bend in the bracket was too much. Because the bracket was so thick and strong, i couldn;t bend it back with a vise and sledge hammer. So I actually partially drove over it with my Jeep. Had to do a little manipulation, but it's now perfect. I don't recommend that approach, but I was anxious to get moving on that part.

Here is the photo of the pedal box assembled with the bracket below. Everything appears to line up. Pedals should be in relative same position
