loved this video - great idea to put all the ECU wiring on the outside of the ECU!

curious as to the headlight switch and hi/lo, turn signal setup - in your location that seems to be mounted behind the dash

I don't know what your "setup" is, but you can see where we always put the headlight switch panel at the 4:12 mark in this video.

was referring to this pic, it seems you'd have to reach under and up inside the dash to use the lights and turn signals... or is this just mocked up for testing?

I guess I'm missing something here. Let me try this again. That location is behind the finished dash. It is easily accessible without twisting, bending or any type of body origami to get to it. We mount the hazard light switch (not the turn signal switch), the headlight switch and the high/low beam switch in that location. These may vary between builds since we sometimes use the pushbutton on the end of the RT, TS switch to control high/low beams. We do it this way to keep a very minimalist dash layout. I'm just not a fan of cluttered dashes with a bunch of switches. If you sit in the cockpit of your car, and reach to this area you'll see it's really a comfortable position to get to all of these switches. And with the flange that F5R mounts as part of the chassis, it's almost as if it was made for this.

I did something similar to keep my dash cleaner. I mounted my hazard and wiper switches below the dash rather than in the dash.
