Planning my roadster build with a 351W and AOD transmission.
What drive shaft do I need to order(or specs to have one built)?
Thanks,

Steve - I don't know the answer, but if you call or email Factory Five they'll surely be able to tell you.

More importantly you need to ensure that your AOD is the short tailshaft/tailhousing version and not the longer version used on Lincolns and trucks. Safe to say that if you select the AOD option when placing your order that you will get the correct driveshaft length based on the short transmission.

You'll likely need to specify which rear suspension option you are running, too.

Thanks everyone.
I'm using an 8.8 posi out of a 91GT mustang and the AOD from a 85 mustang(looks like a short shaft). Ordering the complete kit today, after about 17 years of dreaming and drooling. I'll call FFR first to see if they have the info I need so I can add that in the comments section.

As your AOD came out of a Mustang you probably have the "correct" (shorter) tail shaft version, but it never hurts to check.
