Hi all,

New here to the forum. Reppin' Eastern WA. I've got a FFR Mk3 I purchased "built-ish" in spring 2020. This exact car in its original state was actually in my wedding in 2010. I deconstructed and went to work shortly after. Only engine work I had to do was w the serpentine system and water pump. Now I have heat/sound deadener, CARPET!, floor mats, a nice padded diamond-stitch console, and door dressings. I went with gulfstream aqua with a subtle (haha!) Terlingua theme. Did everything myself including all the body work which of course became so much more involved than I ever thought it could. There were certainly days I wanted to give up and just cry. Now 2 years later, all I need is to remount the fuel tank and install new headlights this week when they get here!

2020:
170729

Now:
170730
170731
170732
170733

Anyway, thanks for looking and I love everyone's content on here. It was invaluable throughout this process.

Awesome rig Blessid! And your color is beautiful! Can you give more details of your build (i.e. engine, trans and drivetrain )?

Thabks everyone!

It is a 2007 build mk3
302
Tremec 5sp
Holley Sniper EFI
Kirkey high backs

The car was originally built in 07-09 by a family member. Car was in our wedding in 2010 at least in running form. Zero body work was done and no fitment was done- it was just painted a champagne pearl with blue stripes. Over the years it was stolen, pawned, recovered, vandalized and stripped and left in that state until I bought it in 2020. Now it has a new beautiful life and I love it.

The car looks fantastic! I wouldn’t mind seeing it in person and talking to you about your painting experience. I live in Spokane, how about you?
