I just got a deal on a rotary hydraulic Rotary Lift. My MK4 is at Ken Pike's in CA and I will pick it up in a month or so. The lift sits ~5-6 inches off the ground and I am pretty sure I will not be able to drive the roadster on it without making some sort of extensions to even out the on / off ramp. Does anyone have experience with this lift and how long the extensions need to be?
Thanks!

looks like they recommend rubber blocks to raise the height, not sure if you could maybe find a race-ramp or adapter to mate up to the incline angle

A little off topic, but could I ask when you dropped your car off at Ken's?

End of March - buddy dropped his in Jan and we are on schedule to be done basically the same time. He may be slow but when I dropped it off I looked at the shop, their work is impeccable. I spent enough time building and really don't want to deal with fitting, sanding, bodywork. He knows what he is doing and glad to leave it up to him. Good luck!

The ramps onto my lift are only 12 inch long and going to 5 1/2 inch high so I am thinking of extensions so I do not bottom out. Looks like yours are 27 overall to a height of 3 inch. Probably have to play with it when I get my ride back- just hoping someone had one and could give me insight.
I hope yours stays on the schedule that he gave you. Mine will be painted this week, I'm taking the go kart up the following week for him to reassemble, and then I pick it up the week after that. That will be 52 weeks since I dropped it off. I know of two other cars that are right behind mine, so like I said, I hope yours stays on schedule.
