View Full Version : Ceramic Coating on Gas N pipes
Hey All……Has anyone heard of these guys? I ordered Gas N pipes and was curious if anyone has applied this or any other coating to their side pipes.
Thanks in advance.

Jet-Hot has been around a long time. No first-hand experience though but I will have headers ceramic coated, inside and out when I have them built. Always SS304.
A friend that was building headers and sidepipes used a service on the north side of Detroit. Wish I knew who it was.

Jet-Hot has been treating jet engine parts for a long time. I used them on my 1st car, 15 yrs ago, and as for as I know are still on the car, sold it yrs ago..

Yes, I used Jet-Hot to coat my Gas-N pipes. I went with satin black rather than the classic polish. They did a great job. Just be aware that the classic polish finish doesn't stand up to heat as well as some of their other higher-temp coatings. I've seen other builders complain that it eventually turned a dull grey color on headers and on the bends on the side pipes coming off the header flanges.

I had Jet-Hot coat a pair of bare steel cats back in 2015, still look the same today. For the cats I did use an ultra high heat coating.
