Hey guys,

For those of you that have attended the FFR build school in Flint, any recommendations on where to stay? Where to avoid?
Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Robert T. Longway Blvd?

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express July 2016, no complaints.

Jeff, that’s where I stayed in May, it was clean and comfortable (free breakfast was nice). Very close to the school, had to drive a few minutes for restaurants, etc. Build school was awesome-highly recommend!

I am jealous I did not get to go. My build came during the pandemic and they were paused when I was looking to go. Did not affect my build thanks to the awesome folks on the forum but would have been lots of fun. That being said I keep beating the drum for them to create a video series/ online course. I would pay for it right now even though I am finished with my build :)

How about the Hyatt Place? I'm reserved there for the build school in mid-sept.

Another good option is the Courtyard Marriott Flint Grand Blanc. The nearby Redwood Steakhouse is great.
