Not an FFR, but does anyone know what make it is?

A friend has this cobra and has been trying to figure out who made it. It's got some odd framework to hold the a-arms as well as a fiberglass encased, plywood floor. I know it's not a Shell Valley and the owner mentioned Hunter in past discussions. Please take a look at the pics and let me know what you think.

Scott,
I saw the additional photos that you posted elsewhere. While it appears to have an extended wheelbase like a Hunter the FIA like cut at the rear of the doors does not match up to Hunter nor does the body shape, particularly aft of the cockpit. An easy giveaway on the Hunter chassis is the Corvette IRS and it’s transverse leaf spring. Your other pics show a straight axle and coilovers at the rear.

All that said, I know what it isn’t but I don’t know what it is! :)

Finally got the trunk pics. First one shows the inside, left side of trunk space. Sketchy light mount and what looks like a hand made frame. Second photo shows the trunk from a distance. Fuel tank is behind that aluminum piece above the carpet.170821170822
