Up to you but personally I think it requires it be tagged and on the road legally.

My definition is once all bodywork and paint is completed and all the finishing touches are on (louvers, badging, etc).
I don't want to do any glamour shots of the car until that point.

I have held off graduating mine as I am letting the paint settle before adding the badges, interior door panels and lower door aluminum rocker panels. Been fighting the urge to graduate since I got it back from paint and body work.

Back in the old FFCobra.com days the requirement for graduation was assembled with paint…that’s why my own car didn’t graduate (and still hasn’t) so I had to just settle for a G.E.D. ;)

For what it is worth, I submitted my graduation once the car was painted and had passed inspection.

Ironically it took about 5 months to get the license plate because the State Police Specialty Vehicle Unit handling that stuff was deployed to NOLA to deal evacuees from that were staying in the Big Easy after Hurricane Laura (Cat-4) hit Lake Charles.

Thanks for all the reply’s, Jeff the G.E.D that was great .Mine is assembled and painted waiting on Haggery insurance to move forward now we are trying to see if I qualify for a performance car insurance . On the form there wasn’t enough room to list all the performance cars owned over the years .Sure wish I kept a few of the Hemi cars that I had.
