There is a nice report in German TV about the (German built "Custom GT") GTM. Here is the link (http://www.motorvision.de/videos/ccg-custom-gt-patrick-simon-testet-mit-dem-ccg-custom-gt-den-neuesten-supersportler-made-in-germany,2566.html)
You can watch the episode online (after the commercial). Unfortunately it is in german - but in a few short words it is: very hard to get in (the test driver is very tall), the car has also liquid gas (LPG) to run on - nice handling - very lightweight - but the steering is way not race car like, too much motion needed on the steering wheel even for light corners - but having a lot fun on the race track - he tells, that on "Hockenheim" the car made an astonishing 1:09 - shifting and clutch is not easy, something for "real men", Koni suspension, MovIt brakes - the front end is very light, little understeer when entering the corner, which can be helped with a little power oversteer - 150.000,- Euros, "made in Germany" with an body and frame from the US.

Have fun...........Eugen

We put up a post on Factory Five's website (http://www.factoryfive.com/whatsnew/press/motorvision/gtmpost.html) about this GTM story as well. Great track footage, great driving shots, and hilarious expressions from the test driver as he pulls the trigger on this 400 HP LS-powered GTM. There is a killer clip of the car getting air over a rise in the track about 5 minutes and 43 seconds into the video.

Very Nice! It would be interesting to see Jason Plato or Tiff Needell do a test. At least we'd know what they were saying. Well pretty much anyway. :)

Note to self.... Do not let this guy anywhere near my car!

Frame bottomed out, and the rear lower body (ahead of the rear wheel) looks like it took a hit as well.

"Dukes of Hazard" in a GTM...

Funny, I don't know what he said, but the circus music playing while he was trying to fold himself into the cockpit was pretty funny.

That wasnt circus music. That was the theme song to the Benny Hill Show. Classic brittish, 70's, politically incorrect comedy.

Oh yes, Benny Hill. He had all the babes.

I wonder if he would have fit in a GTM? :D

Yes, the host / racing driver is 6 feet 5 inch tall, which in a GTM is not an easy fit :-)

My wife (from Germany) translated this for me.

Best line 5:40 translates roughly "This is an awesome feeling!"

He was frustrated by the lack of room for his arms because the steering is not as fast as most sport cars.

My wife was laughing as he uses the slang word "geil" (original mean horny) but contemporary use means "cool, awesome, kicks butt, rocks".

At 6:30 they comment how light the car is (and with the horsepower) you can "feel it in every curve"

He was very impressed with the power to weight ratio. He also commented about how "pure" the car was without ABS or ESC. He said that for anyone that did not want a "suit off the rack" (or in case car) such a Ferrari or Lamborghini this is will be your style.

Except for the steering ratio this was one HAPPY German..
