I'm installing the T56 reverse lockout-module which has 2 wires for the VSS sensor: One for VSS Reference and one for VSS Signal. The internet seems to suggest that on the T56 Magnum it doesn't really matter which wire is which, but some forums stress that one is HIGH and one is LOW. I have no idea which is which. Does anyone know? This is what the pigtail connector look like:

I dont think it matters either. Especially if its not being used for anything else. Ground one side and send the other to what ever your trying to control.
BTW when I use a T56 I just power the lockout with the brake light power. Hit the brake and shift into reverse.

I'm assuming you're using the American Powertrain ELUN-10013 module? That's the common one and also the one I used in my Coupe build. I checked my build notes, and unfortunately I didn't detail which of the two wires I used. The instructions do describe a test with an ohm meter to determine high versus low. Don't remember if I did that... It's been a few years. Did you try that test? I do know that whichever one I picked it worked. FWIW, the RF schematic lists the green wire as speedo signal and the grey wire as signal return. Not technically correct because the 2-wire VSS is actually an AC device that outputs a sine wave. One wire hi, the other low. Maybe start with the green wire?
Maybe someone else with more recent experience (and better note keeping or memory) can give you a direct answer.

Yes I'm using the American Powertrain ELUN-10013 module. Don't remember the instructions mentioning the ohm meter thing, I'll go back and check. Thank you!

Its a variable reluctance sensor, doesnt matter which side you wire each to
