E-brake spring in handle

I managed to make something truly disappear, lost the spring that goes in the handle of the e-brake. Can someone please get me some quick measurements and guestimate resistance so I can replace from hardware store ?

Is it the donor e-brake handle, and the spring for the release button?

yes...if my memory serves me correctly ....about 1/2 x 3"
