Any one know where FFR sources their head lights from on the Gen 2 33 Hot Rod?
When I stored my car in the fall all my Amber turn signals & DRL lights were working fine in front (I know this cause I'm anal about checking lights before I go cruising; long story for another time of what that is), and I finally went to pull the car out of storage yesterday, checked the lights and the passenger amber turn signal is not working.
Thought that was odd but wiring s**t happens so I brought the car home today removed the passenger head light and all the wiring checks out so I removed the driver's side head light and plugged it into the passenger side and now the amber turn signal light works just fine. I took the head light that was originally on the passenger side and plugged it into the drivers side and now the driver side amber turn signal does not light so the issue is in the head light itself.
Pretty sure FFR doesn't have any warranty on their parts so I figure I'd go straight to the manufacturer and buy a new head light, thus my question.

Thanks in advance

Think I may have found them or at least ones that would work on Amazon.

Still be interested in where FFR gets them from. I have pinged FFR tech support too on this.

I have the following from Amazon. They look just like the link above.

I live rural and good headlights are a must. Bonus, I really like the white LED daily light driving lights. It just looks good. I have them for two years now with no issues. OK, I did have one issue. When I plugged them in, the high and low beam were crossed. A simple rewire and I was good again.

I have them on my car and they work. The only things I ran into were that the wiring for the high/low beans was flipped and when installed, they level higher. I had to aim down my headlights quite a bit to get them level again.

Mine "should" be here today although I haven't gotten the UPS shipment confirmation yet.
I also heard back from FFR, they are going to send me a replacement headlight since it should not have failed so quickly. The good news is I'll have a replacement set on hand.

New LED headlights arrived from Amazon (repasted link below). Installed them and they work great, I now have my white DRLs and my Amber turn signal.
JimV (& others interested) - These are the EXACT headlights that come from FFR in my Gen2 kit right down to the black box (I remember the black box admiring how well the lights were packaged). Housings are the same, glass / reflectors are the same, all the locating / alignment knubs on the light casing is the same, as well as the same type of date code sticker on the back of the light.
Not saying FFR buys from Amazon, just saying Amazon sells for the same supplier FFR gets them from.

Brastic - Mine were completely plug & play, no issues with low & high beams being switched around.

I also know why FFR is sending me a replacement, these LED lights have a 24 month warranty according to the card in the box and mine is within that period (Sept 2022 is 2 years) so it's a warranty replacement. Now I'll have a set with nice packaging in case needed down the road.

Jim,
Thanks for the info.
Do you think water can get inside thru that breathing hole in the back?
Thanks,

Doubtful, There is a big enough lip on the head light housing and the head light itself that the chrome trim ring that holds the two together will shield any water from coming in (see 1st pic). On mine (can't speak for others), the head light housing mount is on the bottom and the trim ring gap is on the bottom (see 2nd pic) so I'd probably have to drive through a huge puddle and submerge the light in order to get water inside my headlight housing.

Even if that happens I saw a video in one of my searches where they showed the LED headlight lit and they were holding it by the wires sloshing it around a tub of water fully submerged including the breather hole in the back. In the amazon link above it notes the light as waterproof and dustproof.

I just ordered these.
The ones that came with my kit are so so. Low beams are good, high beams shine too far up. If I adjust the light so the hi’s are OK, the lows are only lighting up 20 feet in front of the car.

I like these LED headlights on Amazon so much I even put a pair (minus the DRL option) on my 55 F100 I'm working on.

Possible solution: Get yourself a swatch of Goretex fabric from a fabric or outdoor store and glue a patch of it over the hole. Make sure you don't seal up the part of the fabric that goes over the hole with glue, and that you have the water-repellant side of the fabric facing outwards.

My new headlights came today. WOW, for $103 they are really made well.
I haven’t installed them yet, just tested them with a 12v battery. Nice sharp low beam cutoff.
The hole I was asking about already has a piece of some type of fabric over it. From the Amazon pic it looked like an open hole.
