Thanks for all the video! I’m actually doing the coolant system upgrade on my Coyote. Do you mind sharing the hose part numbers? I believe edwardb also posted the hose part numbers, but it would be nice to have both. Thanks!

Most of the Motorcraft hoses that Paul (edwardb) included in his build thread have either been discontinued or backordered with no restock date. We chose Gates hoses for all of ours. Not Mustang specific. I'll see if I can round up all of the part #'s over the next few days and add them here and in the description box of the video.

I see that many of the “main” coolant hoses that hook up to the tank have the correct bends on them. I would like to get those “pre-bent” hoses, so I don’t have to fight the generic hose or pinch them. Thanks Frank!

List of hoses we used in this portion of the cooling system.

-Upper Radiator Hose Gates 51350 (notched, rotated and cut to fit).
-Surge tank to engine block Gates 19936 (full length, routed around the back of the throttle Body).
-Surge tank to radiator Gates 18321 (we cut off the last 90* bend at the surge tank).

List of hoses used in previous cooling system video for the 25th Anniversary MK4.

-Lower radiator hose Continental 60959 (this one is from the thermostat housing to the point we cut and connected to our aluminum tubing).
-1-1/2" X 12" long, thin wall aluminum tubing from local metals supplier. We beaded both ends of this tube.
-Lower hose from aluminum tubing forward to radiator Continental 61657.

Nice work! Couple of thoughts...

That upper steam hose is actually 3/8" at one end and 5/16" at the other (at least on the gen2 coyote). A single-diameter rubber hose will probably work fine, but those with next-level OCD will want to know this. Also, silicone hose is more flexible and will make the bend out of the engine block more easily. In this photo you can see where I spliced in a reducer to transition from 3/8" to 5/16" silicone hose for that line.

Also, if you locate the Moroso tank closer to the PS hood hinge, it makes routing that hose a little easier/cleaner.
