View Full Version : RF Dash Harness anomaly?

I'm connecting the RF dash harness to the F5 GPS gauge set. The RF send unit connector pin (water , oil, fuel) do not align with the gauge connector pins although it appears the ground wires are aligned. Do I need to move a pin (either on the male or female connector) to get matched up? Am I m missing something?

Yeah, not going to work that way. Need to move the pins on one connector or the other. Or just clip the connector out and hard wire them. Not a fan of either of the connections on the LH side of both of your pictures. Pretty rough strip and copper showing on the first one. Not great.

Yep, those connectors are pretty cheesy. All soldered and shrink wrapped sans connectors (after verifying appropriate continuity). Not good that the F5 vintage GPS gauges and RF harness connectors are out of sync.
