The Moser Rear End is a snap to put on. Had my brother here to help man handle it and it looks great.

Great pics! Very cool installation.

Just curious. It appears in the first pic that your chassis has the two upper control arm brackets for the 4-link setup but you obviously have installed the 3-link setup. Did you order the 3-link when you ordered your kit? I guess I was under the impression that the type of upper arm bracket would match the rear end setup. The pics in the MkIV brochure show one bracket if you get the 3-link and two if your order the 4-link.
Ordered a 3-link with my car which is supposed to be delivered next week. Was expecting a single arm bracket. Maybe they are installing two upper brackets on every car so it will work for both setups (not IRS of course).

Thanks

Hmmmmm.....Looks like you might just be building you a Factory Five Roadster. :) Looking great! Keep up the good work.

You got it! Both 3 and 4 link upper mounts are on all plus the panhard bar mount is now bolted in rather than welded from the factory, which in addition to allowing FFR to standardize their chassis makes it MUCH easier to put the rear axle in place.

Wow, that's no fair. Everyone should have to thread the axle through the triangle at least once! :)

HA! Yeah, fun times. I did it ONCE on my Mk3 and was really grateful for the bolt in mount when building the Mk4!

Thanks Jeff,

Definitely makes good sense to standardize as much as possible. Now I won't have to question it when my kit arrives next week.

FYI, you may want to flip the shocks over. The rear shock's spring sometimes interferes with the panhard bar bracket.

In defense of my man Lucky, he got the rear shocks correct. On the Mk 4 FFR has them going in just the way they are. They can be seen on page 73 of the manual. Keep on rolling Lucky, Can't wait until the next update.

Very nice, what are your thoughts on going with a 4-link vs. a Mosser? I am at a decision point on the rear end. Any help with the cost benifit on purchasing a donor rear end with after market axles and brackets. My requirements are 3:55 gears.

Any help would be most appreciated.
