Greetings!

What a strange few days it's been. I created a profile here 7 years ago and lurked about and made contact with a wonderful gentleman who let me sit in and drive his car. I was close to pulling the trigger, just had to line up a couple more ducks and I never ended up doing it.

Fast forward to a week ago and I was off to buy a project car and after flying across the country to see it, the guy lied to me about the condition it was in. While stewing in my anger at Newark airport, I thought maybe I should just look at the cobras again. The more I thought about it the more it's taking hold. Having a concrete guy come out to the house tomorrow to make the arrangements to build a shop to build the car in :)

I've had quite the ordeal recovering this account, I haven't been able to receive any reset emails or been successful at contacting any admins to help, it just all of a sudden let me log back in.

All my previous activity is gone but I'm quick with a search engine and can find a lot through previous posts by others.

I might post my kit details build list in a day or two and see if anyone sees anything I'm leaving out.

Hope to be posting pics of a complete car sometime down the road

Welcome back. Your following a similar path as I did. I too had to build a garage to build the car! The admin for the web site/forum posted that he will be away for a few days.

welcome back. I as well built a garage to build my cobra. now I also have an old truck that I'm restoring, and a 4 post lift in the garage as my wife was tired of having an old truck in our driveway.
looking forward to following your journey.

Parsaver,

I was on vacation last week. Sorry for the delayed response. Your "Contact Us" submissions led me to this thread. Looks like everything is OK now. There's really no reason "all your previous activity" would be gone, so that's a bit disconcerting...

It may have been me you made contact with? I found an email chain leading up to a proposed meeting in August of 2015. I have a Blue MKIII. Here's a pic of it, along with my brother's MKIV (it's for sale). I was building it at the time, so if you saw the MKIV, it would probably have been without the body on:

Welcome back!

It was you and thank you again for your generosity. When I saw your brothers you were in the process of brushing down the metal for a milled effect.

Being your in Arizona we can certainly help you out. We have probably 7 or 8 cars here right now if you would like to see some and there are a couple available for sale of you are interested.

It was super helpful talking to you yesterday.

I learned quite a bit and spent a good amount of time changing my list. Here in a couple of days I'll probably email you with a few more questions :)

Thank you again!
