(please excuse me for the potentially dumb question)
When working on the car with the engine running I'd like to route the exhaust gas out of the garage. I'm thinking of using those aluminum dryer vent hoses, a Y pipe, and a vent fan to make a exhaust gas extractor that pipes the exhaust gas far away. The question is, will the high temperature exhaust gas melt any of that stuff?
Can't seem to find an answer on the temperature range of those these vent hoses:
169405
I don't know what the temperature rating should be, but I'm a firm believer in the right tool for the job. Maybe something like this...

A bit pricy, but won't melt to your pipes or have holes leaking exhaust into your garage.
Edit: I'm seeing most dryer vent hose showing a rating of 125-135 degrees.

I use a 4foot drum fan with a high CFM. Flushes the fumes and heat out of the garage. I find it is more effective at pushing clean air into the garage than sucking dirty air out.
Be careful, a well-respected Cobra manufacturer/ builder in Australia died a few years ago due to carbon monoxide buildup in his garage whilst tuning a customer's cobra. Apparently he bent down low to pick something up and was overcome by the concentration of CO.

In this link, under performance data, this type of dryer tubing is rated to 430F. However car exhaust is normally 200F up to 600F. I wouldn't attach it to my pipes, could be an ugly melted mess that catches fire.

Better than household aluminum

fom, there is a pure aluminum duct available for dryers and other uses in a variety of diameters. It is so thin that it dents easily and is not "tool" appropriate.
I am not sure this is it: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-4-in-x-8-ft-Semi-Rigid-HP-Expand-Duct-EVER008/313119910
WESTAFLEX Noninsulated Flexible Ducts looks more likely:
