Coyote Guys - could someone help me out and clue me in to where the sending unit for oil pressure is/goes? I'm at that magical moment when guages can be hooked up and I haven't been able figure that one out. Any help would be great.

Tee it in with the existing oil pressure sensor. Go to your local hardware store, in the plumbing department, buy the shortest fitting ( I think it was 2 inches), and buy a Tee fitting.

Water temp - you can get an inline fitting from Summit for the 3/4 inch heater hoses.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the input. My biggest issue at the moment is finding where the sender goes into the block - I keep looking at it but to no avail. Where should I be looking? Thanks again.

The stock sender is just above and behind the oil filter housing. BTW, I did as suggested above and connected both the stock and FFR senders to a tee fitting remotely mounted on the F panel and connected back to the block with braided line. I believe Richard Oben replaced the stock sender with the FFR unit and did not experience any problems. Apparently the Ford Racing computer doesn't care what the oil pressure is.

Joe is right, the ford computer does not care about oil pressure, but it will NOT let you reverse the Mass air meter. We just removed the stock OP sending unit and put in the one from the gauge supplier. On a side note we did not know about the oil level and the computer so we left that in the oil pan. HTH, Richard.

For water temp there is a driver's side fitting about half way up the block casting you can use on the 4.6L Three-Valve, so I would assume there's one on the Coyote block as well. That's if you don't want to cut into your hoses...

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the input. I followed Joe's lead and put a "T" in the heater hoses for water temperature. You guys are gentlemen and Factory Five scholars - thanks again.
