Indiana inspection requirements

Does anyone know how to get the Indiana safety equipment requirements prior to getting a title for a Conra kit car

We don’t have safety or equipment inspections, only VIN verification. If you are building and don’t yet have a VIN you’ll have to get one issued by the state. I’ve taken several cars through the process and wrote this up years ago:

It all still works pretty much the same with the exception that the car will be titled with the model year being the year it was first titled rather than as a 1965.and just took less time. I think that the form numbers remain the same and can be accessed through a search on the main Indiana BMV site.

Update:
Just ran another one through and by being sure to fill out all of the paperwork with “1965” in the model year rather than allowing the BMV to do it the title work came back as 1965 rather than the current year.
