I am in the process of ordering a complete hot rod kit and would like to meet up with someone in the vicinity of Austin, TX to get a better understanding of what's involved in the build. I am trying to decide how much to take on; e.g., A/C, power-assisted brakes, independent vs. solid axle. I'd be happy to talk to anyone who has worked on any of the models, not necessarily the hot rod.
