1007987RD finally finished, just inspected and registered today, retitled as a "65" and took about 20 minutes for inspection and registration, $56 all in with two year registration... much easier than expected.

Purchased as an unfinished build and wasn't sure I would take it to the end, im second owner (thanks Karl Sachs for a great initial build) and many years to finish but it's done.
MK4, crate coyote, TKO 5 speed, IRS, AC, power steering and brakes etc.

I have only had it out a few times now but runs out and drives fantastic... love the car and came out exactly as I visioned it, exceeding all expectations.168178168179168181168182

How did you get those red stripes on the rims? Those look really nice.

Thanks all guys, lots of people on this forum helped make my decision to keep it so again thanks... so glad I did.

I striped the wheels red to match the red I put on the outer edge of the white stripes (hard to see in pics) the red splashes around the car give it some pop.168183

Best to use a camel hair rat tail brush and "one shot" paint or a good sign paint

Very clean - nicely done! I like the steering wheel. How did you black out the spokes?
