Took car to get it’s official weight for titling. Had to take it to the landfill for a certified scale. Came in at 2280 lbs with about 7/8th tank of gas.

Sounds right. Mine was 2220 with a near empty tank

Mine came in at 2,180 full of gas.

Interesting! My hot rod was the same - 2280 exactly.

2450 for mine :mad:, with 6 speed, IRS, aero mods, and a complete roll cage. I have hopes to get that under 2400 eventually

Got ours weighed yesterday also. 2320 lbs and ran out of gas pulling off the scale.

Official weight for titling? Wow. That's a new one on me. Illinois did not have that requirement. I wonder how many other states want a weight.

Not required in VA, although IIRC I was just around 2250lbs when we corner balanced the car (MKIV, 302, T5, 3 link, 17x9", Kirkey 41500 drag seats, wheels on all four corners).
