As the final item in switching all my lights to LED, I spent today switching my Tangent lights to LED. I also took the time to repaint all the metal and clean up the aluminum. Big improvement

I ordered the replacement lamps from SuperbrightLEDs.com

2 H3-W14: Cool White
2 194-CWCOB1W: Cool White

They were a straight up swap for the incandescent bulbs. Just a matter of taking the housings apart and swapping them out. A bit tedious as there isn’t much room in the housing to hold everything in place and get the tiny retaining screw back in, but its possible.

The front of your car looks a lot like mine. It is showing evidence we’re actually driving our cars!
I am using a chip repair kit from Dr. color chip that actually works very well. No, not a show quality repair but my chips are white against the vermilion red so the chips stand out. You go online to their website and provide them the color code and they’ll make a kit to match.
Really great job on the LED conversion.
