What is the hose running through the engine compartment?
I too have the BPE347. I love it. How is your dip stick on the right side front? Mine is in the block on the left side near cylinder #7.

Blue print puts the dipstick in the Canton pan in the front right. The car is beautiful!!!

So is it a 7qt pan? I got the long block vs a fully dressed engine so maybe that is the difference.

Beautiful! I'm at the point where the BPE 347 is just installed. Did you use the MK4 Ron Francis wiring harness? If so, any notes and/or pics you can share that might benefit my engine wiring effort?

Hose is fresh air intake for the heater / defroster ... I am using it for ventilation as well.
The dipstick is where BPE installed it... I bought a FFR Engine/Transmission
"Plug & Play" package from them.

I used the Ron Francis Harness... Its excellent! The install is pretty straight forward.

Aside from the wheels, roll bars, and bumpers you basically just made my Cobra.
I would also like a pic or two of how you did the exhaust. I'm going with rear exit as well.

These cars have such a stunning appearance (at least in my eyes), where I can sit and just stare at the beautiful flowing body lines and not ever get tired of looking at them. Shelby got it right! A true visionary.

Yesterday I had the honor of meeting the owner & seeing his car at an HSR Event at Road Atlanta.
My take away after viewing his car is that it is an Elegant Well Executed Roadster.
