Trailer wiring adapter question

Is there any reason (and it would be electronic in nature) why wiring in an adapter at each rear corner would be a problem? I would like to have easy access in case they malfunction, and all of my wiring is pretty buried under panels at this point. TY

I used weathertight connectors. That way, if the body is removed, I can simply unplug the four corners. It's worked out great.
