Going to pick this up tomorrow if it checks out ok. Anything I should look for? It's from a 2021 GT with less than 15k miles. I figure I can't go wrong for $300.

Looks nice although obviously cleaned up and/or painted. They're not that clean after being on the road for 15K or whatever miles. The part number molded into the case doesn't mean anything. That's the same for all. The tag that appears to be smudged and not readable (at least from the resolution of the picture) says what particular model it is, e.g. ratio. These are from the 3.55 iron case version that went into my 20th Anniversary build. Assuming it is what they say it is that's a good price.

3.55 would be a good ratio.

Thanks for the feedback on this. Everything checked out, so I ending up buying it. I hadn't planned on using any donor parts, but $300 for this seemed like a good deal.

And it turns out it's a 3.55 Torsen rather than the trac loc.

Even better deal. You did good! I like the Torsen I have in my Coupe a lot. Only complaint is they do make a little noise. Certainly not a dealbreaker and more than made up by how it works. At least for me. Enjoy.

Sounds like a good deal. I paid $900 for a complete rear subframe with a 3:55 center section, axles, spindles, rotors, brakes, and hubs. I haven't been able to sell any of the excess parts, so you did pretty good for $300. I was able to use all of the of brake parts since it only had 9k miles on it.

I was looking for a complete assembly when I bumped into this deal. For the spindles and hubs, I'll probably go with something like this (https://fortesparts.com/product/2015-2019-mustang-irs-knuckle-kit-with-toe-bearing/) from Forte. And then go with new brakes unless I find something almost new.

Nothing wrong with going with Forte if you want. But FYI that's a standard Ford Performance catalog item. Nothing special from him (or anyone else.) Part number M-5970-M. Google it.

Indeed it's a standard Ford part. However, everything else being equal, I'd prefer to give business to the smaller suppliers like Mike.

You can also get low mile used ones for well under half that price and they are the exact same.

Definitely. The easy button is tempting, but can get expensive.
