For those of you that trailered your kit home, what do you need for a trailer? I'm only 45 minutes to an hour from factory five, but was still planning on using Stewart. Just wondering if it's overkill, plus I'd get my kit at the beginning of a vacation week if I get it myself. Just not sure what I'd need to rent, or what the best place to rent a trailer from would be.
Thanks in advance.

And a couple of buddies to help you lift the frame :)

I've seen plenty of them loaded up on a u haul car trailer if all you're getting is the kit and you have a truck to put all the boxes. I did mine on an 18' flatbed but I also had a coyote on the back of it in a crate.

I have moved/picked up several with a pickup and a typical car trailer. Bring plenty of rope and a cargo net if you have one to simplify tying down all the boxes. the large aluminum pieces will be screwed to the frame and body panels are taped to the body. Biggest issue is carrying all the boxes. If you can borrow a 20' car trailer you can put the entire skid of boxes and the car on the trailer together.

I also used an 18 foot Uhaul. Worked perfectly. You just need a couple of friends at your house to help you unload the boxes, frame, and body.

Did you use a cube van, or car trailer?
Thanks

Be careful with the Uhaul ramp. I about ate **** taking the rearend down on a dolley by myself. TOOK me for a ride, but somehow stayed off my butt!

I think I had a 18 foot trailer that I borrowed from a neighbor. There is also a place in Wareham that offers some nice trailers that tilt down to slide the car off once home.

I used a Suburban and an 18’ car trailer to pick up my kit and tow it back to Rochester, NY 15 years ago. Even if you ordered a complete kit that setup should still work today.

I picked up mine with a 7x16 enclosed trailer, plenty of room for everything
