What kind of shocks were you running? Where did it break?

Dad and my son in law are ok and we have bilstiens on will be switching. Bottom of the shock shaft

I’m assuming that the Bilstrins had not had the recall upgrade done?

Glad no one was hurt. That could have been way worse. As I told my wife after she had an accident, machines can replaced, loved ones can't.

Dang, that's a real shame..poor car got messed up pretty good just from running into a hayfield. Or was that just where it came to rest?

looks great and almost back on the road.
I had a front Bilstein fail years ago but i was lucky no other damage and it happened at low speed just after exiting a freeway

From the pictures, your finish looks a bit "cloudy"! Just kidding, the paint looks amazing. Congrats on the rebuild!
