Sniper Fuel line question

I was curious if anyone use the 5/16" supply and 1/4" return line for the Holley Sniper. The Holley manual recommends a 3/8" supply and return line. I do have the soft lines that came with the Holley Sniper kit. Has anyone ran the soft lines all the way under the chassis? Don't flame me for asking. Worst case I will get 3/8" hard lines but wanted to see what others had done before I spend more money.

Found this for running hose. Looks like people have done it. I believe I will just use what was in the holley kit. Guess I should make sure the pickup will work as well now that I think about it.

I ran 3/8 NiCopp lines in both directions. I used the Eastwood handheld tubing straightener to get a straight run front to rear and finished the rear in Earls Vapor Guard and braided line and fittings in the engine compartment. It took about three hours to build the entire fuel line setup and it's clean and durable. No leaks and I've never starved my Sniper. Not the cheapest but it has a great look and I'm ready for any type of fuel in the long run.

I used stainless steel braided 3/8" soft lines to and from the Sniper with the Pro M fuel pump hanger. This setup has worked fine for 10k miles.

I installed, gasp, these rubber lines…
Car is still at the paint shop so can’t comment.
But it started and ran a nice idle in my driveway, lol!
I asked technical personnel at FFR and they told me that there is no problem running all this rubber from one end of the car to the other and back again.
Just my 2 cents.

We installed the rubber lines that came with the BluePrint engine and haven't had any issues yet. We have about 2,500 miles on it.

Thanks for the responses. Did everyone use the pickup that came with the kit? (non EFI upgrade). It looks to be the 5/16 as well. I do not want to buy an in tank pump since the external pump is part of the Sniper kit. Anyone know what car they used the pickup out of for the Hot Rod?
