How do you wire the LED converter into the wiring harness. I don't know a suitable location in the wiring harness to splice in the convertor . I also need clarity on the red brake lead since the in side of the converter is a 5 lead and the out side in a 4 lead arrangement. This is the last electrical problem I have left.
I will be priming car next week. Everything else is done. Go-Karted in March. the 427 runs great. Headers lined up. everything is good.
Thanks in advance,
Russell

No help what so ever, it tells me nothing I need to know concerning wiring the converter.
Thanks for the effort.

Check out post #81 in my build thread. I posted a schematic showing how to build a module that allows the LED converter to be mounted between the main harness and the front harness behind the dash. Could potentially be of some help.

Arock,
1. Click on his name
2. then click on "View Forum Posts"
3. look for thread dated 5/11/22 at 0949 called "The Brew City Cobra - 427w/ IRS - Starting with Electrical
4. go to page 3 of that thread and you will see thread number 81 on the right side of the upper tag bar.
I'm sure there is an easier way but this is how I found it.

You can provide the exact link to specific post. Like a did in post #6 above. Go to the post in question. In this case, post #81 on page 3. In that post, right click on the page number in the top RH corner. A dialog box will open. Second from the bottom is "Copy link address." Click on it. Then go to the post where you'd like to provide the link. Do a paste command. Right click -> Paste or Ctrl-V in Windows. The URL to go directly to the post will appear. Save when complete per normal. I think this isn't a widely known feature. But it's handy when offering advice that's in a specific post.

Thanks Guys, for all the info concerning the convertor wiring on my MK4. It was the last electrical thing I had to do. I put the convertor in the back of the car. I had already finished wiring at the dash and did not want to get back in to that area. The rear was a cake walk with the supplied pictures and drawings. Everything tested out perfect the first shot out.
Thanks again, saved once more.

I really wish they would do an addendum for the LED install of the rear lights. For my electrics it was the most confusing. Luckily I had some awesome folks who helped me through it.
