Headlight switch knob

I have removed the set screw from the headlight switch knob, but the knob itself won’t budge. It will neither unscrew nor pry off using a fair amount of force. Can’t mount the switch to the dash without removing the knob.

You remove the whole rod, there's a button to press in that will release it.

Hey Paul mine to was stuck on the switch shaft .I took the set screw out and slightly rotated the knob a bit and it came right off. I used a small crescent wrench to hold the flats of the switch shaft to help hold it. Good luck

If you want to remove the knob, it’s pressed in. Takes a bit of force even with that set screw out
