Hey Folks

Moved into front spindles and tried every orientation I can think of but they don’t seem right. They don’t look the same as in the manual but I figured that’s already happened a few times so far… so could just be that.

But these don’t seem right to me. Can anyone confirm these are the right parts ? (MK4 roadster)

Thanks!

Looks like 94-95 SN95 spindles, not FFR spindles. Whether its right or not depends on what you bought. Weird that you would also receive the steering arms for the 2-piece spindles which you dont need with the donor spindles

Sorry to be ignorant but I don’t know what SN95 spindles are. This was part of my full kit- they were part of the POL shipment from this week. Supposedly these are part #s 33043 and 33044. Although I’m not sure if that’s actually the right parts for the standard from spindles for the Mk4 roadster

Did you buy a complete kit form factory five? If you did then it looks like factory five sent you the wrong parts. those spindle in your picture is a part that you would have to source if you are building a base kit. there is another part that mounts them to the upper control arm 167270

What size wheel are you going with? not sure it matters maybe some one else can chime in here

Hmm. Yes I bought a complete kit. I am going for the 18” wheels from the 25th anniversary car.

Those are Mustag spindles and an obvious shipping error. Don't use them. Beside they won't work anyway without the spindle adapters that convert the donor McPherson strut design to the upper control arm Factory Five uses. And they're considerably inferior. You need to contact Factory Five, show them those pictures, and they need to provide the correct ones. I suspect they'll want the ones you have back.

Will do! Thank you so much!

The SN95 spindles would have been sent if you ordered the pin drive width suspension option but since you also have the 18” wheels that wouldn’t be the case (unless that option box was checked in error) because the two are not compatible. As others have said contact FFR and they’ll swap you for the correct ones.
