Seems FFR has the front Center Section bushings backordered. Does anyone have a source to get these? Mind you, that FFR asks us to drill out those mounts to 5/8", so I don't think I can just get a set of bushings from Summit or Ford.
Thanks in Advance,
Ted

Ted,
I need the outside rear upper bushings (12232). I went to Energy suspension Parts and put in the measurements. It came back with part number 9.9489. I was curious if you had a chance to look at it and got the same part number.

Hi guys,
The rear bushings are Energy Suspension part # 2123 https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/bulk-2123 while the fronts are part # 2048 https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/bulk-2048.

How long have you been waiting for the IRS bushings? My kit was delivered on 5/4 and the lack of bushings and front spindles are really holding up the process. Panels are going to the powder coater this week.

Thanks everyone. My kit was delivered April 1st. I got the rear upper bushings, but not the front ones. I ordered my spindles and center section from Forte.

I am in the same boat with you. Rear IRS bushings, Hub Nut, Rod Ends, M16 X 2.0MM DEFORMED THREAD, FLANGED LOCK NUTS before I can get it on the ground. Just trying to find other thing to work on that will not interfere later down the road. No ETA last I heard

Jeff go to McMaster and get nylock nuts in the same dimensions.

I know this is a personal opinion but I hate deformed metal nuts because they can damage the threads when you remove them.

Craig what is your suggestion? I was actually thinking of using nuts with lock washers.

He is talking about using nylon lock nuts. I'm with him on this.

I ordered a set of bushings from Speedway that were just bit longer. Easy to cut them down to fit.

Don't use lock washers, they aren't as secure as nylock nuts. Vibration can loosen lock washers

Any other leads on IRS bushings or timing indications from FFR?

In place of nylock nuts my favorite is another standard nut tightened against the first one. I do this quite a lot on nuts that are hard to access because you can spin it on by hand and only need to wrench it for 1-1.5 turns. If it is something that will be visible to others, I try to find an actual jam nut which is usually maybe 1/2 to 2/3 thickness.

Sourced rear bushings, work great. Bushings from FFR came in packaged aluminum a week ago. Need manual diff adapter, didn't realize I had the automatic one. Need front hubs. Dash flange formed pointing aft so if you turn it around looks like would fit right hand drive car. McMaster Carr awesome.

Are you needing to send the automatic (110mm) adapter back to FFR?
I'm looking for one as I'm rebuilding my entire rear IRS including a differential swap.
