Well I ordered the complete Mk4 roadster kit today. 351 W 435 hp from the Engine factory. I will pick up the kit from F5. I am just two hours from there. This is a great forum I am really enjoying see all the advice and builds. Anyone in my area?
Thanks

Congrats!
congrats! made my order just a week or so ago. FF called the other day to finalize everything and to make sure if i wanted to make any changes or not. I ended up having them upgrade to the willwood brakes. I just could not resist them! Anyway, good luck!! and congrats!

Thanks Dave and everyone, I also did the Wilwood brake upgrade. Thinking about color? I was at F5 a few weeks ago and really liked the red one there.
Dave you have a great team there. Jason and Rick really were helpful.

we have a very special theme planned. its top secret. We have not seen another like this, so it should be special. Hell, we even ordered the personalized plates today to lock it in. Sure, we are 1-2 years ahead of when we need them, but needed to get them, before someone else got what we wanted.

Your going to have something to remember the rest of your life. I'm about six weeks into my build and still feel like a kid in a candy store. There have been some frustrating moments, not because of the kit, but because of my assumptions. This forum has such great minds to help you with any question. Read, plan and read again. Congrats on your purchase and just build it. Nick

Are you going to post pics of your build? I have gone thru many build threads on here they are all so informative. It would be fun to follow one live. Scott

Scott, Congratulations. You are off on one heck of an adventure. I live close by in Greenfield MA, and my MKII was built from 2004 to 2007. Let me know if I can be of assistance. Building one of these cars has been one of the most absorbing and gratifying adventures of my life: I wish you much the same. Pierre

Congratulations Scott! Looking forward to following your build. I'm about an hour east of you in Milford, NH. Haven't ordered my kit yet; hopefully this coming summer. Spent this year finishing and insulating may garage (i.e. Man Cave) so I can comfortably work on my FF5 when I bring her home. If you need help wrenching or heavy lifting, give me a little notice and I can spare an afternoon some weekend. It’s a nice drive out toward Keene.
