Just thought I would share an alternative way of installing a windshield in a coupe. I did read edwardb's very detailed windshield install which helped a lot, however opted to try something different on how to hold/bend the windshield in place during cure. Went with suction cups on the inside that ratchet strap to the roll bar. These are 4" cups, 3" would have been better for the curved windshield.

Also, I purchased the single use dose of the primer, just not enough if you go with the recommended 2" wide on the bottom.

Looks like a good idea! The car looks great. I would love to see your car when you get done. I don't live far from you. There's another fella building a Roadster up off of 896 near you.

Great idea! My coupe was an early Gen 1 and the first 3 guys that looked at it refused to install the glass. Finally got a guy to do it in my garage. He called after it was installed and told me not to move the car for 2 days. When I got home there were a bunch of 2 x 4's jambed between the ceiling and the windshield. It worked!
