I know the 2 main frame tubes are safe to lift the car. Are the square tubes in the back okay? How about the frame tubes in front of the foot boxes? Just don’t want to drop the car or bend something.

I only lift the car from the 4" tubes. My lift had a narrow or wide setup option. I went narrow, and my lift's front arms are just able to get under the tubes in a forward enough position to be safe.

When you say 'square tubes in the back' I 'think' you don't mean any of the tubes around the trunk right?

The square tube (2"x2"?) green arrow is good. I always jacked my MkII at the blue arrow but the MkIV body covers it. The footbox tube, yellow arrow would be fine also but it is up inside the aluminum floor pan. Sorry you need to click the pic to make it larger.

Thanks, yes NO trunk tubes. I should have said round tubes where foot box drops down, not at the firewall.
