APPS - accelerator pedal plug doesn't fit

This is a gen 3 coyote in gen 3 daytona coupe. There is not enough clearance to click the APPS plug onto the accelerator pedal. Also, it is uncomfortably close to the steering shaft. I believe that my accelerator pedal is as far to the right as it can be positioned. Anyone else with this issue? And any simple solutions you can share??

It is definitely a tight fit. And the steering column is close to the connector. Here's the post from my build thread showing how I fit mine. Just comparing the pictures, I took a little more off the back side of the module. Plus clocked it slightly to help with the connector clearance. Well, I'm glad to know it can be done! I'll have to remove it and monkey around with it a while I guess.... seems like I need to do that for every part..(sigh).
