Happy Thanksgiving!

What did ya'll use for a 12V power source for fog lights? The manual is pretty vague here. I'm using the painless system and I can't find a spare circuit with enough amperage to support fog light power. Did you tap into the headlight power and share fog lights and headlights on one 30 amp, 12v feed? If so, is 30 amps enough to run both? I'm thinking I'll have to run a separate wire from B+ with an in-line fuse but if someone has a more elegant solution, I'm listening.

Rick,

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

You must be moving along well with doing the wiring already. I think I used a relay and power from the cigarette lighter circuit.

I plan to use a dedicated relay from the main battery terminal feed, via a separate fuse distribution block.

If you need help with wiring, or position let me know and I'll write up a diagram.

Good to hear from you Henry. I plan to use the cigarette lighter circuit for a 12V power outlet.

Based on the responses here and the other forum it looks like I'm going to do this. Run a dedicated line from a B+ terminal and either go through a separate aux fuse block or put in an in-line fuse.

Happy T bird Day!

It depends on what you are using for the wiring system. If you are using the stock stuff I use the Fog Light relay and fuse that is in your GM fuse/relay box in the engine compartment.
