I know there's been a lot of threads on it, but they're aged. Let's see your engine bay, esp. the valve covers. I am trying to decide what to get and would love to get some ideas.

Wires look fine, as does the engine. ,,,,just part of being a hot rod.

Different car, same engine & valve covers will go into the FFR CC. Only obvious changes will be lowering the alternator and a custom expansion tank on the passenger side rather than the engine mounted tank. Valve covers are from Blue Thunder. A friend did the engraving and paint on the covers. I built the wire looms.

Zee, I used Ansen valve covers they can come up with just about anything you can think of. Great quality, clears roller rockers with no issues and are properly baffled. They were also great to work with!:cool:

Mine were some cheap but tall VCs. I welded on risers for the fill ports to help reduce oil migration. Then I painted them w/ heavy coats of Rustoleum 'Hammered' paint.

Badfish, I really like those LeMans valve covers. Only others I have seen were on a 427 side oiler a buddy of mine owns. Any idea as to their back story?
