I think my spindles are not labeled correctly. Here is a picture of my DS front spindle and the long mounting eye is facing forward and not to the rear as shown in the manual. It is labeled DSS, I checked multiple times. Also, is it possible to replace the grease boot in the lower arm? Don't ask how it was torn..

That is a passenger side spindle…you have it on the wrong side. Yes the boot can be replaced; they are for a Fox body Mustang.

Yes, that's backwards. The DSS and PSS markings are for the hot rod/truck. They need to be reversed for the roadster.

Check that shock through full range of motion. The fronts are typically mounted with the body down. The red Koni shocks can go either way as long as there's no interference.
Update: Disregard my comment. Seems I experienced a senior moment! :o Your shocks are oriented properly.

No worries. I went and checked them anyways.. No need to take the suspension apart again after I get it all sorted.
