I hoping someone has this answer I'm looking to upgrade the Tie Rods on the FF stock power steering for my new build MK4 roadster. I have read somewhere Moog Tie rod ES2150RL has worked with the Unisteer power steering. I was wondering if anyone has used the same tie rod with the FF power steering rack?

Contact Mike Forte, his bump-steer assembly gives you much more adjustability and has been perfect on my car for 17 years.

Thanks Bill,
I've been talking with Mike regarding hydroboost brakes.
I'll get his thoughts on this as well.

I'm not aware of anyone having bump steer issues on Mk4's with FFR spindles. I think this was an issue with older cars and donor spindles.

X2. Bump steer with the 2-piece FFR spindles is essentially non-existent. Don't mess with applying a bump steer kit with that setup. It's just not necessary. Was a donor spindle thing...

X3, bump steer was an issue with the Fox body spindles and the straight arm sn94 spindles. Really no need to 'upgrade' the tie rod ends that I can think of.

It still amazes me how many people try to “fix” bump steer without ever having measured to determine if they even have it

I guess what I was suggesting is a solution that involves a heim joint.

Thanks for the opinions/comments guys. There's a lot to think about at the bleeding edge of a build, especially for the first time. Asking questions is never a bad idea - its a bad idea when you don't.
Cheers.

Since nobody has answered your original question I'll take a guess at it. AFAIK, all the racks (Unisteer, FFR, O'Reilly's, etc.) are all based on the same Fox body rack. Some have extenders in them while others don't but they're all basically the same rack with varying levels of quality internals. So I don't see any reason why the Moog tie rods wouldn't work on the FFR rack (but I can't tell you definitively that they do).
