Radiator

I'm installing the A/C and having difficulty with the radiator installation. I have the non deluxe grill but believe I received the radiator for the deluxe grill.
It appears that I can not yet post pictures but it is the grill that is on the blue truck on the FFR website the brown model I believe has the deluxe grill.


My Kit shipped in Nov. 2021. I would appreciate a picture of the radiator and its part number from a member who working on a truck kit with the non deluxe grill so I can figure out why my radiator does not appear to fit with the A/C instructions for the pickup.

My truck kit came with a Griffin Radiator 9D-11278-00, Factory Five part number 34289. Mine is the standard grille, like the blue truck on Factory Five's website that you mentioned. My kit was finished in December 2020 and delivered in January 2021. So slightly older than yours. I can't confirm I have the same parts as you.

Mine also has A/C. But I didn't buy the Factory Five A/C - Heater kit. I wanted to use a higher end Vintage Air system than the one they provided, and there's enough room for it in the truck. I used a Vintage Air 03032-OFV Condenser. 14" wide x 20.75" high. I don't know how that compares to the condenser Factory Five provides. It was a tight fit but managed to get it all together. There was literally only one location and angle for the assembly to fit onto the chassis for everything to clear. Don't know how much it helps, but these pictures are right after I put the engine in and then the grille/radiator/condenser assembly. Best I could find. The bottom picture is the condenser in the grille with mounts I made. The radiator goes on top of that using the same mounting locations. Much the same as they show in the A/C instructions. Build is 80-90% done. Far beyond this point now. Build thread in my sig line below. Hope this helps a little. Good luck.

Thank you for your help.
The POL shows the same part number 34289 for the radiator . But the unit I received looks like the one for the Deluxe grill .
Your build in formation is an excellent source for areas I will be approaching soon.
Hope someone can send a picture of the 34289 radiator.

Do you still have the box it came in? My box was marked with the Griffin Radiator name and logo and their part number 9D-11278-00 I referenced previously. If that's what you have, then likely you have the right part. If not, either the wrong part or Factory Five changed the source. Wouldn't be the first time.

The box just had a Box #. Turns out I received the wrong brackets. Got the four correct ones and it went together with no issues.
