Rip 2877

Just got this pic from my buddy Dave Van Sleen.. Looks like the guy I sold 2877 to about a year and a half ago had a accident.. I think he is mostly ok.. Not got the word from him or his wife yet.

Got this update this morning

Status: He has a fractured jaw on the lower right side plus double stitches both inside and outside. The good news here is that the doctors do not think he will need a month of “lockdown” on the jaw. After the stitches settle, they’ll re-assess. Lynn also had injury to his left knee and right hand – again good news though in that both can heal rather than surgery and cast. And of course, head concussion effects where just moving his head makes him dizzy.

He remembers that someone was tailing him closely so he’d pulled over to let by, then pulled back on the road. Apparently he hadn’t cleared the grass yet and upon acceleration, the car went sideways into a fairly deep ditch with large boulders. The next thing he remembers are emergency crews cutting him out of the car.

Man I hate to hear that sounds like he took a pretty good hit.

Looks like a few more feet down the road and he would have missed the ditch/ rocks and only skidded into the grass.

Ouch for sure, glad to hear he is mostly okay though, that is always the most important part.

Wow, sorry to hear the news. Glad he's okay.......pretty scary. Sounds like a very hard hit.
