Anyone out there running Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 on a Coupe? Given the typical hood clearance issues I'm just looking for input. I haven't put down money for an engine yet, but I'm leaning towards a 302 block based build, in part to mitigate intake height problems. My thinking here is I would rather run a port injected EFI system vs a Sniper style TBI, but would still like a round 4150 style air cleaner on top, not a late model 5.0 type intake.
I realize it's TBI, but the Holley Terminator Stealth system is very cool looking as well. Impressions on that one?

Let me know if you need any measurements. I have a finished 302 with a ProFlo4, not in car.

I have a 347 Big Bore with a Edlebrock Jr. EFI intake and I'm running it with a Holley HP system. Seems easy to tune and unless you need 2 O2 sensors, the HP only supports 1, then the HP is a cheaper alternative to the Dominator ECU. Mine is paired with a custom cam and AFR 195 Comp heads and it flows real well without the height issue. I bought the kit which comes with a 4150 style 1000 cfm throttle body. Just food for thought.

DesertSn8ke,
I have been asking myself the same question over the past few months. I am planning on going with the Holley Terminator X and Sniper Stealth on top of a Super Victor intake and 363SBF. They Holley can handle more HP and has more tuneability. I also think you would get better airflow out of a Super Victor. Not a big deal for lower HP applications. I did some fitment calculations over on my build thread ( https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?41703-Shakey-s-Daytona-Build ). All of it is theoretical as my kit does not deliver until July.
JEGs has a pretty cool easy kit for the Holley sniper stealth. https://www.jegs.com/i/Holley/510/550-1001K1/10002/-1

Thanks for the input all. I believe the standard intake on the ProFlo is a Vic Jr. If I'm not mistaken. FWIW I just watched an Engine Masters on Motortrend+ and they did head to head dyno test of a Edelbrock Victor Jr, Super Victor, AFR Renegade, TFS sbf single plane, and a Chinese funnel web knock off. The TFS and Super Vic were about even, with the TFS declared the winner by a tiny margin due to making same HP but slightly more torque down lower. The Vic Jr. dropped 30HP to the Super Vic, and the AFR split the difference between the Jr. and Super. The Chinese intake was the bottom of the barrel. That was on a Dart block 363 with Dart 225 CNC heads, and a solid roller cam that they ran to 7100 RPM.
Shakey,
I checked out your build thread, sounds like we'll be on similar paths. My kit won't be here till end of October or thereabouts. Also planning on a SBF 363 (Considering the Ford Perf Parts Z2 363) and a TKX. Gas N Pipes, Track capable, but mostly street driven. I also have a serious thing for bronze wheels.... Been pondering fuel system options as of late. I know its pricey, but I like the looks of the complete Aeromotive Fox body A1000 stealth system kit. Also way overkill in terms of supply capability. But who knows... maybe I'll want a supercharger later :-) Mostly I like the sound of the baffle system for track duty.
I've bought a few tools, but figure I should start ordering parts to. Wheels, brakes, fuel system, center section and hubs for the IRS. I went with an optioned up base kit.
